GEOGRAPHY
Children develop knowledge about the world, the United Kingdom and their locality using pictures, maps, atlases and globes. They make comparisons with the locality and other places in the world and develop an understanding of basic vocabulary relating to human and physical geography. They begin to use geographical skills, including first-hand observation, to enhance their awareness of the local area.
